SOUTHROADS UD QUON GW26-460 Tipper

SouthRoads, a division of HWR GROUP have just taken ownership of a UD QUON GW26-460 Tipper.

Ideal for the job, our UD QUON is a Euro 6, 460hp, with Escot-Vi Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), Cross Locks, EBS, and Disk Brakes, just to name a few features.
This unit is on Air Suspension and comes with a list of extras. Sun Visor, Stone Guard, Tipping Skirts, Super Singles, Alloys, and Power Tarp.
A Hardox Bin completes the build from Transport Engineering Otago.

This unit will be seen on the roads in the lower South Island carting bulk roading material.

Another UD QUON GW 26-460 {6x4} Tipper goes into the fleet of Mc Ewan Haulage Dunedin. This unit is highly spec up with a 5.1m Bathtub tipping deck and a FOB hoist ram. 4 x Machine anchor points and rope rails. Live hydraulics, 40ml Ring feeder, Trailer gear and a Double swing tail door, External tail trip control, Alloys, Tinted windows, Front mudflaps, Super singles, Reverse camera, Roof beacon, Seat Covers, Sun Visor and Stone Guard.
The UD comes with the Escot automated transmission, Full lock up, Euro six, along with the usual UD Trucks safety package which makes it a good all rounder for carting aggregate around the South Island.

RD Petroleum have recently moved there UD Truck CW470 on and put Pete into this stunning new Truck and Trailer unit to service Doubtful Sound Tourist and Fishing fleet based at Deep Cove. UD Trucks GW-460as features all the usual safety spec’s along side a full lock up back end, and Automated Transmission to handle the toughest of conditions. Pete saves on RUC’s as his unit its Barged across Lake Manapouri before he navigates over the 22km Wilmot Pass at 671m. Rain fall here is measured in metres where the annual rain fall is around 7m. In 1964 when this road was built it is reported to cost back then $80 per square meter and several lives were lost during construction. The only road in New Zealand not connected to the network. Pete has no time spare as he needs to be back at West Arm, Lake Manapouri for the return Barge trip across the Lake. When not delivering fuel into the middle of Fiordland Pete can be seen around Southland completing deliveries to the Rural operators. Thankyou RD Petroleum for choosing CVC and UD Trucks.

Jason Gorton from Jason Gorton Building recently put this handy Tipper on the road. UD Trucks CW25-360 complete with a TES built, 5.5m TRUB Tipping body. This tipper will be seen around Southland carting Building supplies to any one of Jasons building projects. With a Tare weight of only 9580kg, 5500mm deck length, Alloy lift out sides, Full lock up Diffs, Ring Feeder/Tow ball arrangement, operator friendly Escot automated transmission, along with the usual UD Trucks safety package makes this a good all round handy truck. Long awaitted UD TRUCKS CG32-460 has quietly slipped into the country during the April Lockdown. The first three 8x4 have been pre-sold however we are expecting plenty of units coming in to the country over the coming weeks. This CG32-460 comes as Air or Spring suspension on the rear and is an addition to the UD TRUCKS 8x4 line-up, as we now have a CG 390, CG 420, and now the CG 460 in the 8x4 line-up.

Chris is the proud operator of this new UDTRUCKS GW26-460 belonging to Earthworks & Paving. Certainly an eye catcher as it operates around Christchurchs Port Hills and surrounding area. Engineering Repairs completed the build of the Tipping body on this unit. This truck comes with all the usual UDTRUCKS safety package

WHOLESALE LANDSCAPES - NELSON CW26-390S

Wholesale Landscapes in Nelson have put this Quon CW26-390S to work carting bulk landscaping product around the Nelson / Tasman region, this smart unit is decked out with a Mills-Tui high cube alloy bin & matching 4 axle trailer with a max load capacity of around 29,000kg running at 45,000kg GVM.
The truck was dropped down onto 275/70R22.5 tyres and has a full crosslock rear end for those offroad drop offs, a live drive PTO and reverse camera.

This sharp looking MK11-250/Auto was set up by Cartwright Engineering with a recovery tray for Rotorua based company A1 Towing & Salvage Ltd contracted to AA for vehicle recovery.
The Aliarc alloy bumper looks the part and complements the striking AA signage and the 5 speed Allison transmission will make zipping around Rotorua and districts easy.

Jim and the team at Jim Bates Contracting have replaced their old number #3 which was a Nissan CW400 with all new number #13 it is a UD Trucks Quon GW26-420 on spring rear end set up with a live drive PTO, Hardox tipping body and trailer gear by Hi Tech Engineering, a cover from Kiwi Tarps and super single front rims, this truck has a 10,020kg tare weight, a big thanks to Jim for choosing CVC & UD Trucks.
